Light Vibrato

Caught between vibrations,
I hang between each liquid strike
that ripples in the surf.

A wave has found a beach to crash
with leaping foam of sound.
Music reaches with every tide.

Though they began alone,
I urge the ringers on,
and persuasion jars the rhythm,
each bell
that breaks
a wave.

Toll a deeper depth
to rise a grander height,
enough to permeate a rose
and every thought I hold.

Elation filling every pull
with light we hear as love,
and trembling petals floating there
ripple to the sound.
